Jordan Adetunji is a multi-talented British-Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter known for his unique music style which is a fusion of Afrobeats, hip hop and punk.
Adetunji was born in Croydon, a town in England and later moved to Belfast, largest city of Northern Ireland, at the age of 10. He was raised by a Nigerian mother, and was introduced to music with a diverse range of musical influences, which include the likes Michael Jackson, Busta Rhymes, and The Weeknd.
He began doing music in his teenage years, when he started playing musical instruments like the trumpet and drums. He was already experimenting with rap, drawing inspiration from video game soundtracks and the grime scene by the age of 15.
Jordan rose to fame for with his songs “Wokeup!” In 2020. The song caught the attention of Oli Sykes, the lead vocalist of Bring Me the Horizon, and led to his signing with RCA Records.
