Cupidszn was raised in Port Harcourt, South South part of Nigeria. He had his secondary school education in Port Harcourt but decided to focus on music instead of furthering his education. He developed passion for music with influence from the likes of Juice Wrld and Lil Uzi Vert. He was initially interested in trap music but later decided to do Afrobeats based on the advice of his father.

Each track in the EP, has its own unique sound from up tempo vibes to love filled rhythms.
