Biography
Estevao is a Brazilian professional footballer known for his dribbling, flair and speed. He plays the position of a winger and has been acknowledged as one of the promising talent in the world of football.
Estêvão was born in Franca, Brazil, to parents Ivo Gonçalves, and Hetiene Almeida. He began his career at the youth level with Cruzeiro in 2017 before joining the youth set up of Palmeiras in 2021.
He made his professional debut for Palmeiras first team in a 1-1 draw against Cruzeiro on December 7, 2023. He had 62 appearances and 11 goals during his time with Palmieras.
He signed for Chelsea for a fee of €34 million plus €23 million in performance based incentives. He was eventually unveiled as their latest signing on August 5, 2025, after 14 agreement between Chelsea and Palmieras. Estevao joined Chelsea because of their plan for him as they have trust in his talent.
Estevao started his international career from the under-17 levels after being called up for a set of friendlies in October 2022.
