Biography

Ayo Maff is a Nigerian afrobeat singer and songwriter who came to prominence for his Fireboy DML featured single titled “Dealer”.

Ayo Maff grew up in Somolu, Bariga area of Lagos state, where he had his early education. He was raised by his mother alongside his four siblings. He was inspired to do music with the influence of the vicinity he lived. He left home at the age of 15 and was determined to provide for his family.

Ayo Maff was previously signed to Tunesbid Limited before joining Empire Distribution. He started up with doing freestyles and covers of well knwon songs.

He came throught with his first single, Jama Jama, in 2023, and followed up with the release of two-track project, Street Anthem/7 days, in January 2004.

He eventually got the attention of music lovers with his hit song “Dealer” featuring Fireboy DML. The song was accompanied with a music video in April 2024, and as of Fenruary 2025, it already boast of over 2.5 million views on YouTube.

He released his debut extended play titled “Maffian” in August 2024. The EP comprises of seven tracks which include; Last Week, 7 Lives, Are You There and so on.

He released his studio album, The Prince of the Street in 2025. The album has amazing tracks like Felony, and Realness.
