Biography
Ayox is a Nigerian afro fusion artist well known for his EP “Last Son of a Widow”. The Akure born music artiste is recognized for his unique style of blending fuji, R&B and Afrobeats.
Ayox grew up with his mother and other siblings as his father passed away. He had his secondary education at Aquinas College, Akure and proceeded to Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo State for his tertiary studies.
He developed his passion for music with influences from the likes of Olamide, Beautiful Nubia, and Orlando Owoh. He began releasing music underground with the song “Pray For Me” featuring Otega in 2021.
He became known for his cover of the song “People” by Libianca. He got exposure for the release of his song “Ayo” featuring the gospel singer Yinka Ayefele.

He eventually came through with his first project, which is an extended play “Last Son of a Widow” which was inspired by the loss of his father. The EP sees Ayox poured his emotions on most of the tracks while showcasing his personal struggles and experiences. One of the stand out track titled “Lonely Nights” is one that sets the tone and mood as a loner.
