Zach Bryan is an American country singer and songwriter recognized for his lyrics and stripped-down acoustic style. Zach who was born in Okinawa, Japan, while his family was assigned there with the U.S. Navy, grew up in Oklahoma. His parents parted ways when he was barely 12 years old.
He developed a passion for songwriting with influence from country storytelling and folk traditions, and was already writing songs at the age of 14.
Prior to music, Bryan served in the U.S. Navy for eight years. He started with uploading songs on YouTube, before he eventually gained attention.
He released his first album titled “DeAnn” in 2019. He followed up with the release of another album titled “Elisabet” in 2020, which further shows his evolving craft.
Bryan came to the limelight with the release of Something in the Orange (2022), a single from his major-label debut American Heartbreak, which reached the Billboard Top 10 and went multi-platinum.
Bryan became one of country music’s most notable new voices with the the release of his self-titled album, Zach Bryan, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, in 2023. His 2023 collaboration with Kacey Musgraves on I Remember Everything earned him a global recognition and a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2024.

His relationship with the co-host of the BFF’s podcast, Brianna LaPaglia, also went from July 2023 to October 2024 before they parted ways.
His efforts in the music industry didn’t go unnoticed, having won lots of awards to his credit which include; Billboard Music Awards (2023) for Top New Artist, Top Rock Artist, and Top Rock Album. He won the Academy of Country Music Awards for New Male Artist of the Year in 2023.
He also earned a handful of nominations such as; The Male Country Artist of The Year at People’s Choice Awards in 2024, Male Breakthrough Video of the Year at CMT Music Awards in 2024, Best Narrative at Berlin Music Video Awards in 2024, and many others.
