Biography
Apekeola is a Nigerian AfroGosoel sesnation known for the song “O Gbogo Folemi”. She is singer and performing artistis that combines Afrobeat and gospel sound with traditional yoruba influences.
She was raised by her parents in Lagos, where she had her basic education at Community Grammar School, Ipaja, Lagos, and then further her education at Adeniran Ogunsaya College of Education.
She started singing in her church choir as she was influenced by her cultural heritage and her love for the gospel.
She came to prominence for the release of her song “O Gbogo Folemi”. She released her first album titled Ara (Wonders), in 2018. She is credited for other songs such as; Gba Gbogbo Ogo and Ogun Ti Njani Bo
She has been featured on Deborah Ajayi’s “Awokilumo” alongside Adeyinka Alaseyori. She also featured on “Praise Affair” by Tosin Bee, and “E Lagbara” by Toluwani.
