Biography
BIBI is a South Korean singer, and songwriter well known for her chart-topping song titled “Bam Yang Gang” and her first studio album called “Lowlife Princess: Noir”. She has distinguished herself by blending R&B, and pop with an uncompromising artistic identity.
BIBI was born in Ulsan, South Korea. She grew up with her younger sister, Kim NaKyoung, who also made her debut with the girl group TripleS.
Bibi’s early interest in music came through writing songs and producing independently. She was discovered by Yoon Mi-rae when her self-produced work on SoundCloud came to attention. She signed with the label Feel Ghood Music in 2017.
She came through officially in 2019 with the single “Binu”, which was followed by a series of singles and EPs, including “Life is a Bi...”.
