Biography
Alexander Sorloth is a Norwegian professional footballer known for his aerial prowess and clinical finishing. He is a centre-forward acknowledged for his dominance physical presence in the box with a height of 6 feet 5 inches. He is also very effective at drawing defenders and creating chances for his teammates just like Erling Haaland.
He began his career at the youth level with Strindheim and Rosenberg. He went on loan to Bodø/Glimt in 2015, and later transferred to the Dutch club, Groningen, and then to Midtjylland in Denmark.
He moved to the English club Crystal Palace in 2018, which was followed by loan spells with Gent and Trabzonspor from 2019 to 2020.
He joined RB Leipzig on September 22, 2020, for a reported fee of €20 million, and later spent two seasons on loan with the Spanish side Real Sociedad.
