Biography
Cha Eun-woo is a South Korean singer, and actor who is well known for being a member of the K-pop music group called “ASTRO”.
He has been outstanding for his acting role in the television drama titled “True Beauty”. Cha Eun-woo is one of South Korea’s most sought after stars recognized for his musical talent and versatility.
Cha was born in Gunpo, South Korea and raised by his parents alongside his younger brother. He went to Nungnae Elementary school, Suri middle school, and Suri high School for his elementary and high school education. He graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School in 2016, whet3 he majored in broadcasting and entertainment. He also studied performing arts at the Sungkyunkwan University.
He began his career in 2014, with a role in the film titled “My Brilliant Life”. He also trained in singing and dancing at Fantagio’s trainee program. He joined the music group called ASTRO, in 2016. He won the Rising Star Award in 2018, and Emotive Actor Award in 2021 at the Asian Artist Awards. He received the Best Actor Award in 2024 and 2025 at the Blue Dragon Ranking Awards.
