Coi Leray is an American rapper, singer and songwriter who came to the limelight for her songs “No More Parties” and “Players”.
Coi who was born in Boston and raised in Massachusetts, grew up as the only girl among five brothers, with her father Benzino, a former Source co-owner and a mother who maintained their household through hard work. Leray carved her own path despite early exposure to hip-hop through her father. She later dropped out of high school at the age of16 to pursue music.
She began doing music with homegrown releases in 2018, including her debut mixtape, Everythingcoz and singles like “G.A.N.” and “Huddy”.
She came to prominence with a feature on the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, which ushered her into a record deal with Republic Records and 1801.
