Biography
Cupidszn is a fast rising Nigerian singer and songwriter known for his extended play “Myth Era”. He got exposure after signing with the Mavin Record label, joining the likes of Rema and Ayra Starr.
He was raised in Port Harcourt, South South part of Nigeria. He had his secondary school education in Port Harcourt but decided to focus on music instead of furthering his education. He developed passion for music with influence from the likes of Juice Wrld and Lil Uzi Vert. He was initially interested in trap music but later decided to do Afrobeats based on the advice of his father.
He began doing music at the age of 14 and started posting freestyles online in 2023. He eventually dropped his first song on his 20th birthday. He moved to Lagos with his family and soon began getting attention through the music producer Ozedikus, the same producer of Rema’s breakout single.
Cupidszn eventually joined the record label Mavin Records, which is already a home to music artists like Ayra Starr and Rema. He released his first EP titled “Myth Era” under his new imprint. The extended play comprises of tracks like Palava, Zesty Money, Tuka Tuka, Super, Famous and Your Love is Mine. Each track in the EP, has its own unique sound from up tempo vibes to love filled rhythms.
