Biography
DDG is an American singer, rapper, YouTuber and streamer known for the songs Moon Walking in Calabasas, Balenciagas and Free Parties. He also has more than three albums to his credit which include; Valedictorian, and It’s Not Me, It’s You.
DDG was born in Michigan, United States, as one of five siblings of his parents. He has a younger sister who is identified as Tee Tee on YouTube. His brother, Marion Breckenbridge was shot and killed inside car in 2014.
He went to International Tech Academy and also proceeded to Central Michigan University and later dropped out. He eventually move to Hollywood, California to pursue a full time career as an entertainer.
DDG began doing music as a child where he would stay in the studio where his father was an audio engineer.
He came through with the release of two songs “Balenciagas” and “Free Parties” in 2016. He released the single “Givenchy” off his first Extended Play “Take Me Serious” on November 23, 2017.
He signed a record deal with Epic records in June 2018 and released the song “Arguments”. He released his second EP “Sorry 4 the Hold Up” on March 22, 2019.
He co-founded his own record label Zooted Music in 2020 and released the single “Moonwalking in Calabasas” which received double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
He collaborated with the American rapper Gunna on the song “Elon Musk”, in February 2022. He followed up with the release of his se and studio album “It’s Not Me It’s You”, which features the likes of Polo G, Kevin Gates, NLE Choppa, Gunna, and Babyface Ray.
He released other albums such as “May be it’s me” in 2023, and “Blame The chat” in 2025.
He has also collaborated with the likes of Ron Suno, Mystic, Blake, Melvoni, Tyla Yaweh, Taliban Glizzy, Nakkia Gold, Traetwothree, and many others.
DDG was nominated for Best music streamer and Best breakout streamer at The Streamer Award 2025 for his effort in the music and entertainment scene.
He started dating YouTuber Kennedy Cymone in 2017. They got engaged in 2018 before they eventually parted ways in the same year.
He was in a relationship with the Internet personality Rubi Rose in 2020 and they parted ways in 2021.
DDD began dating singer Halle Bailey in 2022. They welcomed their first son together on December 22, 2023. Both also went their separate ways in October 2024.
