Biography
Lifesize Teddy (also known as Elestee) is a Nigerian singer with a unique fusion of Afropop and hip hop. She is a poet, rapper, and vocalist revolutionising afro pop.
She grew up in Boony Island in Rivers state while drawing inspiration from the cultural mix and busy life of the streets in Port Harcourt.
Elestee had her secondary school education in Port Harcourt and proceeded to the University of Maritime where she majored in Chemical engineering.
She was introduced to several music genres at the age of 12 and began writing songs with the influence of the likes of Shania Twain, and Lucky Dube. More influence also came from her mother who is a lover of Literature as she gets acquainted to music from the sounds of Asa, Rex Lawson, Brenda Fassie and so on. What started out as a poet to express herself soon evolve to be a major piece for the music lovers.

She joined Mavin records Artist Development Academy in 2020, where she spent three years developing her passion for her craft. She was unveiled officially to Mavin records in 2023, which also has other talents like Rema, Ayra Starr, Boy Spice, Ladipoe and later Cupidszn.
Elestee first came to prominence in 2018 when she opened for Ladipoe in one of his shows but it was not just enough to cement her as a rising star. She became known in 2023 after the released an extended play titled POISN, which served as a follow up to her self titled project “Lifesize Teddy”. The EP has amazing tracks like “Air” and “Hypnotic” which further showcased what she is capable of in terms of lyrical prowess, while working with producers like Andre Vibez and Sevn.
She is credited for other songs like Many Men, Space featuring Ajebo Hustlers, Liar Liar, Butterflies and Selina featuring Major AJ.
Elestee has continued to bridge culture and genres with her growing catalogues of rich sounds. Her music isn’t just a blend of hip hop and afro pop, but a diary of life. She has proven to be a force to reckon with, having joined the emerging list of Port Harcourt music talents like Timaya, Omah Lay, and Ajebo Hustlers.
