Biography
Kabex is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter who came to prominence for his lyrical prowess, ryhmes, and flows on beat. He is widely recognized for rapping in his native Yourba language.
Kabex was born in Kwara State, Nigeria, where he had his early education. He also attended University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Nigeria, where he studied Political Science.
He began rapping during his school days where he would make covers of popular songs. He started doing freestyles and later challenging other rap artists with the aim of bringing rap back to life.
Ika as fondly called, came through with his debut album “No Bad Rap” in 2019. He became lnown for his EP “Book of Bars” and songs like Ire, Mercy, God Abeg, and Eruku

He made a diss track “Jalopi” which was a reply to Jaido P, and “Destruction” which was directed towards established rappers in the industry. He made headlines again in January 2026, while doing a promotion for Dremo on his song “Man2Man” where they called out Davolee. Davolee on the other hand replied with a diss track titled “Apari ati Dandruff”. It became a back and forth battle with Kabex also dropping another diss track titled “Final Burial”.
He already boast of numerous hit releases such as; Yeye Daughter, a day at Jankara, Awhoo, Genocide, Pangolin Industry, Injury, Story Story.
He has also worked with the likes of Chinko Ekin, Trod, Oladips, Lil Frosh, Diamond Jimma, Zlatan and so on.
