Biography
Yinka Ayefele is a Nigerian gospel singer and music producer known for albums, “Bitter Experience”, “Sweet Experience”, “Gratitude”, and “Next Level”. He is recognzied for his Tungba sounds, catchy melodies and vibes in his music.
Yinka Ayefele was born in Ipoti-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, where he had his early education at Our Saviours Anglican Primary School. He later attended Ondo State College of Arts and Science in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria.
Prior to his music career, he worked briefly as a journalist and broadcaster at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan, where he also produced jingles and musical works on radio.
He began his music career in 1997 after he was involved in an automobile accident that left him with a spinal cord injury and reliant on a wheelchair. He came to the limelight in 1998 with the release of his debut album “Bitter Experience” which was followed up with the release of another album titled “Sweet Experience”.
Ayefele has made significant contributions to the Nigerian music industry, particularly in the gospel genre. He has released numerous albums, which include; Gratitude, Next Level, New Dawn, Fulfilment, Aspiration, Funfair, and many others.
Yinka Ayefele got married to his wife Temitope Titilope in 2000. The couple have four children together. They welcomed triplet, two boys and a girl in January 2019, and later gave birth to their fourth child in October 2024.
