Biography
Liam Rosenior is an English professional football manager and former player known For being the head coach of the French club Strasbourg. He is recognized for his defensive style of play.
Rosenior was born in Wandsworth, England. He is the son of Leroy Rosenior, a former player and manager.
He began his career as a footballer, where he played as a full-back for the likes of Fulham, Bristol City, Ipswich Town, Reading, Hull City, Torquay United and Brighton & Hove Albion. He also represented England at the under-20 and under-21 levels.
Rosenior became an assistant coach for the Brighton under-23 team while also being a pundit on Sky Sports, after he retired from football.

He was appointed as an interim coach for Derby County after Rooney resigned on June 24, 2022. He later left the club after Paul Warne was appointed.
He became the head coach of Hull City, on a two-and-a-half-year deal, on November 3, 2022. He signed a new three-year contract on December 17, 2023, which will keep him at the club till 2026.
However, he suffered racist abuse after being nominated for the EFL Championship Manager of the season in April 2024. He was eventually sacked after Hull City missed out on the play-offs. It was also reported that he was hacked because of the difference in football philosophy between Hull City owner, Acun Ilicali and Rosenior, as Ilicali prefers attacking football which Rosenior was unable to offer.
Rosenior was appointed as Strasbourg manager on a three-year deal, on July 25, 2024, as he replaced Patrick Viera who left by mutual consent. He extended his contract for three years, on April 25, 2025.
