Biography
Elio is a Welsh-Candaian singer and songwriter known for her pop music genre and heartfelt lyrics. She has been acknowledged for her album “Something in the air”.
Elio who was born and raised in Swansea, Wales, moved to Toronto with her family at the age of seven.
She started a band in grade 10 until her first year in University, where she began to focus more on pop sound. She developed her passion with influences from the likes of Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, Troye Sivan, and Sufjan Stevens.
She released her first song “My Friends Online” in March 2020, which enjoyed massive airplays.
She came through with her first EP “u and me, but mostly me” in July 2020, and followed up with her second EP titled Can You Hear Me Now? in January 2020.
She also released the remix of her second EP titled “ELIO and Friends: The Remixes”, in May 2022.
She released her first album “Something in the air” in May 2024, which was preceded by songs like More than My Mind, Sorority, Can I Make You Jealous, and so on.
