Biography
Fola is a Nigerian singer, and songwriter known for his signature fuji toned voice with the fusion of soulful melodies, and afrobeat rhythms. He is well recognized for his songs; Lost, Healer and Caricature.
Fola was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, as the second child in a family of three children. He had his high school education at Ibadan before proceeding to the University of Lagos where he majored in Economics. He grew up in a musically inclined environment as his father plays the keyboard while his mum sings in the church choir.
Fola who had wanted to be a footballer, spending hours training on the field, soon fell in love with music along the line. He began doing freestyles performing covers of songs online while building his fanbase. He also developed his passion with music influence from the likes of 2Baba, Wizkid, Wande Coal and Naeto C.
Fola was signed to Dangbana Republik in 2024, and came through professionally with his debut EP titled “What A Feeling”. The EP is an afrobeat influenced extended play with its stand out track “Who does that” featuring Bella Shmurda, boasting over 15 million plays on Spofity.

The fast rising afrobeat sensation shows that he is here to stay with the release of his debut studio album Catharsis in 2025. Caricature is a love song which sees Fola poured his heart towards his lover with sweet melodies, soulful voice and relatable lyrics.
