Biography
Nathan de Cat is a Belgian professional foorballer known for his excellent reading of the game and positional play. He is a Defensive midfielder with lots of composure, press resistance, and high rate of ball recovery.
De Cat began his career at the youth level with the Belgian side Anderlecht and signed his first professional contract with the club on October 2023. He made his debut in a 0-1 Challenger Pro League away victory against SL 16 FC on February 22, 2024.
He extended his contract until 2027, on August 27, 2024, and was promoted to the senior team. He made his first team debut in the UEFA Europa League knockout match against Fernabache on February 20, 2025.
He scored his first goal for Anderlecht in a Jupiler Pro League Champions’ playoffs match against Royal Antwerp FC on May 1, 2025.
He also represented Belgium at the under-17 level where they reached the semi-finals of the 2025 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, and was named in the Team of the Tournament.
