Matheus de Araújo Santos professionally known with the stage name as Tz da Coronel, is a Brazilian rapper, singer and songwriter acknowledged for fusing music genre of funk, trap, and hip-hop into compelling narratives that resonate across Brazil. Coronel who was born on July 6, 2001, in Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro, emerged from local rap battles in 2017 and quickly gained prominence for his lyrical style amid the vibrant streets of his hometown.

Tz da Coronel’s debut single “No Meu Pescoço” marked the beginning of his recording path in 2019. He fully announced his arrival with his 2022 debut album É o Trem!, a gritty introduction credited in full to Calli Cartel Records.
