Biography

Diss Gacha, is an Italian rapper, lyricist and songwriter, who quickly rose to fame as one of the leading voice in the contemporary Italian hip-hop scene. Gacha who was born in Avigliana, a town near Turin, grew up in a robust cultural heritage of northern Italy. His early exposure to music, passion for basketball and admiration for the Italian legendary footballer, Francesco Totti, had shaped his artistic identity.

Gacha musical journey started in 2019, just after completing his studies at the ITIS “Altiero Spinelli” where he majored in computer science. He came into the rap scene with his first single titled “No Smoke”. He followed up a year later, with the release of his first EP, Ballas, which showcased his distinctive style and lyrical prowess.

He witnessed a significant part of his career in 2022, when he went to Atlanta, Georgia for a collaboration with the American artist Lil Gotit on the song titled “Lamborghini Narcos”. The international collaboration gave him lots of exposure in the music scene and also introduced him to a global audience.

Gacha returned to Italy and continued to build his reputation with singles like “Mh Ah Ah,” “4mega Shoo,” and “Aka Dolce&Gabbana.” The latter caught the attention of one of the top fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana, which led to a collaboration that also elevated his career.

He released his second EP, “Cultura”, in April 2023. The EP boast of features from the likes of Nerissima Serpe and Tony Boy. One of the standout track on the EP “Captato,” earned a gold certification and also went viral on the video sharing platform, TikTok. The success of the EP, gave him an edge above his fellow artists in the Italian rap scene and further set the tone to achieve a greater height in the future

He released his first album, “Cultura Italiana Pt.1”, in May 2024, and followed up immediately with “Cultura Italiana Pt.2”, in November of the same year. The albums which is a blend of trap, hip-hop, and Latin influences has been well received for its innovative concepts. Some of the exciting songs on the albums include “Opera,” featuring Rosa Chemical, and “Troppi,” alongside fellow rapper Astro.
