Fran Garcia is a Spanish professional footballer and a left-back for the Spanish club Real madrid. He is known for his speed, precise crossing, and high pressing. He links up with his teammates most especially the wingers to break down defenses, and has also been recognized for his defensive coverage.
Garcia was born in Bolañus de Calatrava, Spain, where he began his career at the youth level. He went through the youth academy of Real Madrid from 2013 to 2018 before playing for the reserve team.
He made his senior team debut in a 6-1 home win against UD Melilla at the 2018-19 season Copa del Rey. He scored his first goal in a 3-0 victory against Getafe CF, on December 15, 2019.
He went on loan to the Segunda division club Rayo Vallecano for the 2020-21 season, and made his debut thirteen days later, in a 1-0 away victory against RCD Mallorca. He helped the club to gain promotion to La Liga, and was signed permanently on a four-year contract on July 13, 2021.
