Biography
Gonzalo Garcia is a Spanish professional footballer and a prolific goal scorer with good positional and link up play. He has great movement off the ball. He also has the ability to play as a second striker and can be dangerous in the box with his aerial threat.
Garcia was born in Madrid, Spain. He is the second-grand nephew of actress Rita Hayworth, the great grand nephew of dancers Eduardo Cansino and Elisa Cansino, and the great grandson of dancer Antonio Cansino.
He began his career at the youth level with SEK in 2018 and went through the youth academy of Club Santa Barbara, Jarama Race, and then Real Madrid.
He made his first team breakthrough on August 29, 2023, after being called up for the La Liga match against Getafe.
He scored his first goal for Real Madrid in a 3-2 away win against Leganes I’m the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey, on February 5, 2025. He already won titles with Real Madrid which include; La Liga and UEFA Chanpions League in 2023-24 season.
