Ibrahim Mbaye is a Senegalese professional footballer known for being a winger who can operate on either flanks. He is acknowledged for his dribbling, pace and attacking threat when it comes to one-on-ones.
Mbaye was born in Trappes, France to aย Senegalese father, Souleymane Mbaye who is a former French boxing Champion and a Moroccan mother.
He represented France at the youth stage from under-16 to under-21 levels and later decided to play for Senegal at the senior level.
He was called up to the Senegalese national team in November 2025, and made his debut in a friendly match against Brazil on November 15. He scored his first international goal in a 8-0 friendly win against Kenya on November 18.
