Alvaro Carreras is a Spanish professional footballer known for being a modern day left-back with defensive ability and attacking threat. He is physically strong and has Good movement off the ball.
Carreras was born in Ferrol, Spain to parents, Xavier Fernandez and Maria Carreras. His father is a police officer and his mother a housewife. He also grew up with his siblings, Francisco and Paula.
He began his career at the youth level in his hometown club, Racing Ferrol. He passed through the youth academy of Deportivo La Coruna, Real Madrid and Manchester United from 2012 to 2022.
He joined the senior side of Manchester United and went on loan to clubs like Preston North End, Granada and Benfica.
