He began his career at the youth academy of Toronto FC in 2012, before moving to the youth team of Vaughan Azzurri in 2016. He joined the youth academy of the Croatian. Lub Trnje in 2019 and later made it to the senior team.
He signed a short term contract for the Maltese club Valletta in January 2022 and helped them reached the 2021-22 Maltese FA Cup trophy final after scoring the only goal. He later joined Sirens on June 20, 2022.
He joined Nõmme Kalju on February 13, 2023 and played for the reserve team before he eventually secure a place in the senior team, scoring seven goals in his first season.
Promise signed a three-year contract for Union SG in July 2024. He made his debut in a 2-1 victory over Club Brugge at the 2024 Belgian Super Cup on July 20, and scored his first goal for the club in a 4-3 loss to Westerlo. He had a total of 19 goals in his 2024-25 season.
He represented Nigeria at the under-23 level before he decided to switch to his country of Birth, Canada. He was called up to the Canadian senior team on March 12, 2025, ahead of the 2025 CONCACAF Nations League Finals. He eventually made his debut for the national team on June 7, 2025, where he also scored his first goal for Canada in a 4-2 friendly win against Ukraine.
