Nick Woltemade is a German professional footballer known for his clinical finishing, intelligent movement and vision. He plays as an attacker and has been recognized for his strong link-up play and energetic pressing.
Woltemade was born in Bremen, Germany to parents, Tim and Corinna Woltemade. His father Tim Woltemade is a former professional footballer.
Woltemade began his career at the youth level in 2009 with TS Woltmerdhausen and later join the youth academy of Werder Bremen.
He went on a year loan to SV Elversberg where he helped the club achieve back to back promotions to the 2. Bundesliga.
He joined VfB Stuttgart on a four-year contract where he had 17 goals in his first season at the club.
He signed for the English club, Newcastle United on August 30, 2025, for a reported fee of £65 million. He made his debut and scored in a 1-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on September 13. He had his first UEFA Champions League goal in a 4-0 away victory against Union Saint-Gilloise on October 1.
